Plenty of fun activities can be found for Halloween

Halloween is just around the corner and several fun and scary activities are happening.
“The Haunted Theater,” which is located in Sharon, will be open from 8 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 26-27. The theater will also be open from 8-10 p.m. Sunday Oct. 28, and from 8-10 p.m. on Halloween, which is Wednesday, Oct. 31. Admission is $5.
The “Fear Factory” in Union City is another “howling’” multilevel event that is stirring up some scary fun. Admission is $10 and the factory will be open Oct. 26, 27, 30 and 31 from 7 p.m. till late. For more information, visit www.fearfactoryuc.com.
The big top of all Halloween fun is “Talon Falls Scream Park 2012.” Talon Falls, which encompasses four attractions on 40 acres is located at 2932 State Route 849 West, Melber, Ky. For more information, including show times, visit www.talonfalls.com.

UTM Housing will once again be hosting the annual Halloween Carnival for the local community. The Safe Zone trick or treating allows children to enjoy Halloween festivities safely on the UTM campus. Safe Zone Trick or Treating will take place in Cooper Hall and University Village from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31. Children are able to receive candy or trick or treat from all participating residents of Cooper and University Village. Activities also are planned by PRISM on campus.
On Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., join PRISM for a Ghost Walk. And on the following Wednesday, Oct. 31, which is Halloween night, PRISM is planning a Ghost Hunt from 7-11 p.m.
