Robinson named All-Conference Team

UTM's Gerald Robinson was named to the 2006-07 All-Ohio Valley Conference Men's Basketball Newcomer Team.
Robinson, a 6-9, junior from Los Angeles, CA, averaged 12.9 points per game, 6.1 rebounds per game and he shot 42.3 percent from the field.
The forward earned OVC Newcomer of the Week honors three times this past season and was named the league's Player of the Week after he scored a career-high 32 points in a victory at Tennessee State.
Joining Robinson on the all-newcomer team was Murray State's Bruce Carter, Southeast Missouri State's Brandon Foust, Eastern Kentucky's Adam Leonard and Eastern Illinois' Romain Martin.
The all-newcomer team was voted on by the OVC's head basketball coaches and sports information directors.
