Hey guys. We didn't run an issue last week, so I apologize now for any of your misfortunes if I led you astray. Either way, I hope everyone's Thanksgiving was great.
Sebastian Janikowski scored more fantasy points than Chris Johnson for the second time this season. He made all six of his field goals against Chicago this Sunday. Four of those kicks were 40 yards or more. He scored 18 of the Raiders' 25 points helping seal a close 25-20 victory against the Bears. He is the pride of Poland.
Tom Brady is doing his best Tom Brady impersonation this year. He's going off. If the Patriots' secondary wasn't so mangled and
beaten up, they'd be my favorite to lose to the Packers in the Super Bowl at season's end.
Against the Eagles, Brady completed 24 of 34 passes for 361 yards and three touchdowns. He even had 28 yards rushing and he's a statue. Philadelphia has had a nightmare season proving my point that Vince Young is a curse to any team, on and off the field.
Yes, I know VY threw for 400 yards on Sunday. But I don't like him. If you want me to lie to you and keep saying he's a ‘winner', you're barking up the wrong newspaper.
Hey… it was part of a tree once.
Did someone tell Drew Brees that the Giants defense insulted his mother? He sure played like it. "LOOK AT HOW GOOD OF A JOB SHE DID RAISING ME!", I imagine he screamed to the team.
Brees threw for 363 yards, four passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown on MNF. It's fantastic to watch this guy play. It's not easy being in on five scores in one game. If he didn't play like that for his mother, he did it for Sean Payton's knee.
If you picked up Victor Cruz this season based on an educated hunch, be proud. Because that means you're like me: Successful. And right.
He's had a breakout year, putting up huge numbers week in and week out. He's outperformed both the number one and two receivers on New York's offense. How many active Giants receivers can say they've outplayed Hakeem Nicks? Ever? Not many.
Monday night, he had nine receptions for 157 yards and two touchdowns, leading all receivers in fantasy points this week. You can't spell ‘victory' without ‘Victor'. Well… the Giants didn't win. But I won this week. That's all that matters to me.
Wes Welker had a monster game on Sunday, hauling in eight receptions for 115 yards and two touchdowns of his own.
‘Stupid Hat' Chris Wells had a great game, as well. He rushed for 228 yards and one touchdown on 27 carries. He did fumble once, though. You can take the running back out of OSU but you can't take the choke out of the former OSU running back. That's how that saying works, right?
WEEK 13
START: Cam Newton vs. Tampa Bay. It's just a hunch. I think he's due for another silly outing.
BENCH: Mark Sanchez vs. Washington. He's terribly inconsistent and put up great numbers on Sunday. He'll be ugly again.
