Junior running back Jason McNair made sure his kin folks knew he came to play Saturday night against the hometown favorite Mississippi State Bulldogs. The University of Tennessee at Martin tailback rushed 27 times for 122 yards. Despite McNair's effort, Mississippi State took advantage of Skyhawk miscues and made big plays en route to a 55-17 homecoming victory at Davis-Wade Stadium.

Week 9

The first half of the season is officially in the books. How's your fantasy team looking? I recovered from a 1-3 start and am now 5-3 and tied for first in my division. My record may not reflect it, but I'm still better than Trevor Smith. He plays in our cupcake division.
